Responsibilities:
Responsible, under the direction of the Property Manager, for all phases of the property operations, and to act as main point of contact in the absence of the Property Manager
Monitor and direct rental activity, show properties, advertise, and maintain an ongoing knowledge of the local market
Assist in timely collection of rents
Responsible for administrative functions and the preparation of all leasing documentation
Demonstrate knowledge of Fair Housing and other legal issues and local ordinances as they affect the property’s operations
Provide professional service at all times
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 yrs related experience
High School diploma. Some college preferred
Knowledge of office systems and equipment, and maybe basic bookkeeping
Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel. Yardi preferred
Working knowledge of eviction law, Fair Housing mandates and other legal issues affecting property management
The qualified individual must be able to work with minimal supervision while providing support to multiple agents. Applicant must be computer proficient (MS Office Products) with strong Internet and Social Media Marketing skills. Must possess oral and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, be detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment. Salary will be based on experience.
